What is phishing?

Keep in your mind that legitimate financial institutes, online shopping sites, and online money transfer sites will never ever ask you to provide login information through e-mail. So, it’s quite clear that if you are receiving such messages through e-mails, then it’s not more than a scam. Obviously, these are different tactics of cyber criminals to fool around you. So, be 100% sure about the message and the sender as well. In case if you are not sure about the sender, then do not even send such details.

Don’t you know there are many people who are just waiting for your initial details, which include your credit card info and passwords? There are different syndicates of cyber criminals who are seeking out such information. So, if you don’t want to get into some serious trouble, then don’t provide such useful information to anyone else. Unfortunately, a lot of new internet users still don’t know what is phishing?

Save you skin

Your identity is very precious and once its theft, you cannot revert the process. Hackers and criminals can use your identity to purchase stuff. They can use your name and whereabouts in some false surveys and other illegal activities. Can you afford to have a huge credit card bill; even you have not purchased something? Of course not! You don’t want to be in some big trouble this way.

We are all well-aware of the prevailing conditions of our world. There are terrorist groups working for their own good that can easily have such information and utilize them for their own evil plans. So, it’s good to say NO to phishing scam as once you know “what is phishing”.

How to stay away from it?

Yes you can do it very easily. Do not open emails from unknown users. This will definitely save you from such scams. In case if you have opened an e-mail, which is about providing your crucial information, then don’t pass on such useful information. It might be possible that you have applied for virtual banking assistance and your bank has sent you some official e-mail, but it may also be an illegitimate message. Similarly, you can recall your memory whether you have applied for such option or not. At the same time, the subject of the message will be quite familiar.

There is no free lunch

Everything has its own unique price. So, don’t ever think about such opportunity where you will be privileged to make an easy sign up and get $500 cash or more! Don’t behave like nuts and think deep! No one can pay you for just an easy sign up or providing your personal information like credit card numbers or details. There are no friends on internet. So, don’t let it happen because someone may also use you like toilet paper this way.
